Just guessing. θα τα πούμε στο γυρισμό (μου); θα τα πούμε κατόπιν εορτής; αν αυτό σημαίνει κάτι σαν το "I'll see you/speak to you after it's all over/it's all "gone down"/ it's all "done and dusted" - where "it" refers to any (imminent) event - σε κάποια "ιδιαίτερη (και επικείμενη)...

Good point, Palavra. First time I've heard of the modal verb - but in any case, it's obvious to me now that there was a modal verb there "I wouldn't put it past him", which I've ignored.
