Greek subtitles and English don’t seem to relate in this conversation

In this snippet of conversation from EASY GREEK video #3, the English subtitles don’t seem to relate to the Greek text of the snippet of conversation.
Here is the video and it deals with the eating habits of the people of Thessaloniki: ]

At 0:17 there is a conversation with a Thessalonican shopkeeper about the preferred breakfast habits of the local people. Here is the full relevant text and subtitles:-

—“People mostly prefer bougatsα with creme and with cheese and not the other [δηλ. είδη] because they also choose other kinds of breakfast.”

The general sense is reasonably clear but I am not clear from what the man says, whether the cream and the cheese varieties have prevailed or not. He seems to say that they have but that they have not.

He says, "δεν έχουν επικρατήσει", i.e., they haven't prevailed. Further down he adds, "...έχουν φθίνει στο πέρασμα του χρόνου...", i.e., with the passage of time, preference for them has dwindled.

Thanks, cougr! I spent half the morning trying to get the right youtube clip to download but always the Cypriot one came up instead of Greek food! All is clear now, thank you.☺️

Thanks so much, ‘Man! I don’t know why on earth I could not access EASY GREEK #3 it despite the fact that I had the right youtube number. Can you enlighten me?🤔

I really don't know. I can only say what I did: searched on youtube for "Easy Greek 3 food" as soon as you mentioned the video title, and then pasted the video URL from youtube to post #4 above.
