Is there a greek equivalent for the semi-humorous (or sometimes sarcastic) English expression ‘as you do’ which is used after doing something completely weird or random, as if it is normal. It has become very common in recent years. Would κλασικά do? Here is a collection of examples:-

• I spent three hours sorting my books by the colour of their covers, as you do."

• "He wore a full tuxedo just to sit on the couch and watch TV, as you do."

• "We woke up late Tuesday at 4:00 am to bake a giant cheese pie, as you do."

• "She casually brought a pet hedgehog to the business meeting, as you do."

• He drove his tractor right into the living room, as you do.

In the above examples, 'κλασικά πράγματα' works better. 'Κλασικά' / 'κλασικά πράγματα' normally imply a standard routine or a predictable outcome, so dropping it after an unusual or bizarre scenario creates that exact same sarcastic contrast of 'as you do'.

Other options include 'ως συνήθως' and 'συνηθισμένα πράγματα', again delivered with a dose of irony or sarcasm.
