A Greek word or idiom I can’t decipher in a Greek learning video

An excellent way of remembering the basic use of κάθομαι, SBE! As in the English phrase to ‘stay put’. In the context of Alexandra’s learning video, the ‘offending‘ woman is ‘staying put’ in the doorway i.e. not budging. Thanks for this.

Αντίστοιχα, πριν από λίγες μέρες άκουσα κάποιον να λέει «θα σηκωθώ να φύγω» ενώ ήταν όρθιος εξ αρχής.
