Χτες στη Βουλή, κατά τη συζήτηση ερώτησης της βουλευτίνας της ΧΑ κ. Ελένης Ζαρούλια σχετικά με την ψήφο των Ελλήνων του εξωτερικού, η ακροδεξιά βουλευτίνα, σε ένα σημείο της δευτερολογίας της, θέλοντας να αντιπαραβάλει τις ελληνοποιήσεις μεταναστών και την ψήφο των Ελλήνων του εξωτερικού, είπε, ανάμεσα σε άλλα, το εξής:
«Είναι ντροπή να ελληνοποιείτε λαθρομετανάστες με τον κατάπτυστο νόμο Ραγκούση … και να βγαίνουν δήμαρχοι με ψήφους λαθρομεταναστών οι οποίοι δεν έχουν καμία σχέση με την Ελλάδα, την Ελλάδα του Πλάτωνος και των φιλοσόφων… Να εξισώνετε τους ομογενείς μετανάστες με τον κάθε λογής υπάνθρωπο, που έχει εισβάλει στην πατρίδα μας, με τις κάθε λογής αρρώστιες που κουβαλάει…»
Τα λεξικά (ΛΝΕΓ και ΛΚΝ) καθιστούν σαφές ότι η λέξη υπάνθρωπος είναι μεταφραστικό δάνειο που αποδίδει το γερμανικό Untermensch. Τα ελληνοαγγλικά λεξικά που κοίταξα περιορίζονται στην απόδοση subhuman, αλλά πιστεύω ότι πρέπει να γνωρίζουμε τη χρήση της γερμανικής λέξης στα αγγλικά, καθώς συχνά είναι ακριβέστερο να καθρεφτίζουμε την προέλευση των όρων. Ίσως θα ήταν ακριβέστερο, μάλιστα, αν η κ. Ζαρούλια είχε πει Untermensch αντί για υπάνθρωπο, σχεδόν φτύνοντας τη λέξη όπως έφτυσε το όνομα Χασάν, για να είναι σαφέστερες και οι καταβολές των σκέψεών της και των λόγων της.
Untermensch (German for under man, sub-man, sub-human; plural: Untermenschen) is a term that became infamous when the Nazi racial ideology used it to describe "inferior people", especially "the masses from the East," that is Jews, Gypsies, and Slavic peoples including Poles, Russians, Belarusians and partially the Ukrainians.
The Nazis maintained that for example the Northern Russians had Nordic traits such as light hair and light eye color and were racially fit to be a part of the master race. The Nazis also considered some percentages of young Slavs like Croatians, Ukrainians, Czechs and Slovaks, with the initial inclusion of Poles and Belarusians to be the sufficient subjects for Germanisation. However, it was believed that for instance the Polish people were too patriotic and would ultimately resist Germanisation, what resulted in the Generalplan Ost, according to which all of the Slavs from East-Central Europe with the emphasis on the Poles, were destined to be expelled from the European continent by the Third Reich. Nevertheless, the Nazi Germans eventually decided to exterminate the Poles, so as the vast majority of the Slavic people who, along with the Jews and Gypsies, were defined as Untermenschen, dangerous for the Germanic peoples representing the master race.
