Subtitles in English for the film 5 λεπτά ακόμα

There are several films and songs with this title but the one I am interested in is found at
I am told that is a classic film but I can’t find a version with English subtitles. Is there anyone in lexilogia who can help me? Χίλια ευχαριστώ από πριν!
BTW: I am told that this is an excellent film and should have a wider audience in Britain. I should, therefore, like to have a link with the English subtitles since I missed the film at my Greek class yesterday because at the time of the lesson I was sorting out problems with my car at the garage!

You won't find any English subtitles for this one. You'll have to make do with the Greek subtitles that YouTube provides for the film. If they're not good enough for you, you can always give it a miss. After all, it's just a 6.2/10 on imdb.

Thanks, nickel! At least, I tried…But is it available with Greek subtitles because I can easily follow them?

I'm aware that unsolicited corrections and advice are typically frowned upon but I'm hoping that you'll take this in the right spirit, Theseus. (I know that when someone has pointed out a mistake of mine - on this and other forums, I've been deeply grateful for it - and I encourage it).

Although "Χίλια ευχαριστώ από πριν", would be understood by most Greek people, it wouldn't be something a native Greek speaker would say - it sounds more like an automated, literal translation from English rather than natural Greek. It comes across as meaning "a thousand thanks from before" rather than "...in advance". "In advance" would usually be translated as "εκ των προτέρων" in this situation. So, if you wanted to keep the extra gratitude of "χίλια ευχαριστώ", you would say "χίλια ευχαριστώ εκ των προτέρων". Otherwise you could simply use "ευχαριστώ εκ των προτέρων" or if you wanted to be a bit more formal, "Σας ευχαριστώ εκ των προτέρων". Another expression that is commonly used is "Σε/Σας ευχαριστώ προκαταβολικά".

I never take your criticisms in the wrong spirit, cougr! I learn from you, m_a_a, and any other colleagues who correct my attempts at Greek! That is the way I learn. Lexilogia is a hugely important website for me and many others who are trying to learn Greek and I value the graciousness and expertise of all colleagues.. Thanks for everything🤗
