Have a nice Sunday!
What does "Να πηγαίνω κομποσκοίνι" mean?

(in a row would mean side by side)
Seriously? I'm sure it could mean either single file or side by side. Hence the qualifier in my post above.

Here's what the AI overview says:

"Walking in a row" most commonly means walking in a straight line, one person behind another.
Think of it like:

• Soldiers marching in formation
• Children walking single file
• People lining up to enter a building

It emphasizes an arrangement or sequence of people moving forward in a structured manner.

If that's not convincing enough, google "ducks walking in a row ( or swimming in a row)" and check out the images.

Edit: And for good measure

I'm not doubting that it could, as you say. But the other phrase leaves no doubt, and is the better choice (when referring to one behind the other).

Anyway, here's chatgpt's response ...

"Not quite — "walking in a row" most commonly means side by side, like three or more people walking next to each other in a straight horizontal line.

If people are walking one behind the other, the usual and much more precise phrase is "walking in single file."
