Reference to the Duke of Edinburgh's illness by a BBC news correspondent. Would you say in Greek 'it is possible that there will be one fewer person &c'. It is hardly an idiom but just a matter of simple translation.:huh:

Yes, I'd say it's just a normal translation: Στο βασιλικό δείπνο ίσως φέτος παρευρεθεί ένα άτομο λιγότερο or something like that.
