My name is Lee Williamson and I am a PhD candidate in the department for Languages and Intercultural Studies at Heriot-Watt University in Edinburgh, Scotland.
I am currently undertaking a project to investigate the views of subtitling practitioners on the social impact of their subtitling practice and how the academic research community supports practitioners and the development of the subtitling profession. I am interested in subtitling practitioners based in Europe and Greece is one of the countries included in the study.
