In this song what is the exact difference in meaning between the nouns in bold:-

Αν γίνουν οι ενδείξεις αποδείξεις
τα πράματα είναι πλέον σοβαρά
να ξέρεις θα σε διώξω δίχως τύψεις
και δε θα τον γλιτώσεις τον καβγά.

The only translation I can make of the first sentence is:-

‘If the proofs become demonstrations ‘. This really makes little or no sense’. Can a colleague enlighten me?
 
I think the problem in understanding here is the syntax, because both words are easy to find in any dictionary. Perhaps it would be clearer if it said: αν οι ενδείξεις γίνουν αποδείξεις.
I can see that you understood it as αν οι αποδείξεις γίνουν ενδείξεις, which is the opposite.
